Ingredients

  • 2 oz
    Glenmorangie Original 10 Year

    or similar Highland single malt Scotch

  • 1 oz
    Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
  • 2 dashes
    Regans' Orange Bitters No. 6
  • 1 dash
    Angostura Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 peel
    Orange

    expressed and discarded

    Expressed over the drink and discarded

  • 1 whole
    Cherry

    For garnish

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with one cracked ice cube and five whole cubes. Stir until well-chilled, then add a final "finishing cube" and stir an additional ten times. Strain into a chilled coupe. Express an orange peel over the surface of the drink and discard it. Garnish with a cherry.
