Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks
    Cinnamon

    broken up

  • 1 cup
    Water
  • 1 cup
    Sugar

Instructions

Combine the broken cinnamon sticks and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Lower the heat and add the sugar, stirring until fully dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool and steep for 1 hour. Strain through cheesecloth into a glass bottle. Store refrigerated for up to 1 month.
