Citrus-Basil Syrup

1.5 inchHangar 1 Buddha's Hand Citron Vodka
peeled and diced, including the flesh of the fingers

1.75 leavesDried Butterfly Pea Flowers

1 ozLemon Juice

Instructions
Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium, then add the diced Buddha's hand, makrut lime leaves, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and add the basil leaves. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes — steep off heat longer for a more pronounced basil flavor. Remove from heat, add the lime peel, and allow the syrup to cool completely. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a nonreactive container. Refrigerate for up to 3 weeks.
