granulated Demerara

Instructions
Combine the demerara sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir slowly and continuously to dissolve the sugar without allowing the mixture to boil. When the syrup has thickened, remove from heat and allow to cool. Use a funnel to transfer to bottles for storage. Refrigerate for up to 2 to 3 weeks.
