Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz
    Cachaça
  • 0.75 oz
    Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz
    Aperol
  • 0.5 oz
    Demerara Syrup

    1:1 sugar to water; cane syrup may be substituted

  • 1 top
    Soda Water
  • 1 grating
    Freshly grated nutmeg

    Use freshly grated cinnamon, not nutmeg

  • 1 garnish
    Lemon Wedge
  • 1 garnish
    Cinnamon Stick

Instructions

Combine the cachaça, lemon juice, Aperol, and demerara syrup in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled, then strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with soda water and finish with a grating of fresh cinnamon. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a cinnamon stick.
