Green Pineapple Cordial

Ingredients

  • 2 cups
    Confectioner's Sugar

    or white sugar

  • 1 whole
    Fresh Pineapple

    rinds only, from one pineapple

  • 5.5 stems
    Basil Leaves

    5–6 stems with leaves attached

  • 0.5 cup
    Water

Instructions

Combine sugar and water in a blender and process until the sugar is nearly dissolved. Add the basil stems and pineapple rinds and continue blending until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined. Pass the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer to remove all solids. Transfer to a clean bottle and refrigerate. Use within 5 days.
