Ingredients

  • 2 oz
    Apple

    or similar applejack

  • 0.25 whole
    Lemon

    quartered, for muddling

  • 0.5 oz
    Demerara Syrup

    2:1, sugar to water

  • 4 each
    Blueberry

    3–5 blueberries

  • 1 small handful
    Mint

    for muddling

  • 1 sprig
    Mint Sprig

    garnish

  • 3 each
    Blueberry

    on a pick, garnish

Instructions

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lemon quarters, blueberries, and mint until the fruit is well-expressed and the mint is fragrant. Add the applejack and demerara syrup, then fill with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over cracked or large-format ice. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and three blueberries threaded on a pick.
