    Cabeza Blanco
  • 0.75 oz
    Clear Creek Pear Brandy
  • 0.75 oz
La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Extra Dry
  • 1 tsp
    Giffard Menthe Pastille

    Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz
    Simple Syrup
  • 1 sprig
    Mint Sprig

As part of mint and sage bouquet

  • 1 sprig
    Sage Leaves

As part of mint and sage bouquet

  • 1 pinch
    Confectioner's Sugar

    For dusting over garnish

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a few pieces of crushed ice and whip shake briefly until just incorporated. Pour the entire contents into a Collins glass and fill about four-fifths full with crushed ice. Swizzle for a few seconds, then pack the glass with additional crushed ice, mounding it above the rim. Garnish with a bouquet of mint and sage, and dust confectioner's sugar over the herbs. Serve with a straw.

About

A wintry reimagining of the Mojito built on tequila and pear brandy, with dry vermouth and mint liqueur lending an evergreen coolness. Bright lime and a snow-dusted herb garnish keep this frosty sipper crisp and seasonal.
