Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the raw almonds in an even layer on a baking sheet and toast for 8 to 12 minutes until fragrant, shaking the pan once during cooking. Meanwhile, combine the almond milk and both sugars in a medium saucepan and bring to a low simmer over medium heat. Stir until the sugars have fully dissolved, then remove from heat. Add the toasted almonds to the syrup and allow to cool completely to room temperature. Add rose water and orange flower water to taste. Strain the mixture into a nonreactive container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
