Ingredients

  • 2 oz
    Famous Grouse

    or other blended Scotch

  • 0.75 oz
    Lemon Juice
  • 0.25 oz
    Laphroaig 10 Year

    floated on top

Instructions

Combine the blended Scotch, honey-ginger syrup, and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled three-quarters with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Float the Islay Scotch over the top by pouring gently over the back of a bar spoon. Garnish with candied ginger on a pick.
